Local artist shares recording limelight with <b>Missouri</b> Valley students

BRANSON MISSOURI NEWS: A love and understanding of music, combined with a love for God, shines bright and strong amongst Leana Goodrich and her family. It is the heart and soul of their worship music, which has led them on a journey to record Goodrich’s second CD.Goodrich, a worship music artist, is recording the CD at Warehouse Productions in Omaha, Neb. The CD will include vocals from her two daughters, Hannah and Heidi Goodrich, as well as other students from Missouri Valley High School. They are providing some of the background vocals, solos, and duets.On the CD, Leana focuses on worship singing about Biblical characters and their stories, such as Naomi and Ruth, Yeshua (Jesus’s Hebrew given name), David, and Abraham.
The students participating in the project are students Leana taught through her job at Missouri Valley High School and through her piano and vocal private teaching.“I invited students that wanted to come, to join me in rehearsing some choral things that were in my CD,” said Leana. “Logan King and I do a duet about Mary and Joseph.
