New fashion retailer set to open Thursday
BRANSON MO NEWS: Thursday, June 28, H&M will open it’s doors on the Branson Landing.Hosting its grand opening at noon, the store will be the eighth location for the fashion chain in Missouri.“We’re thrilled,” said Nikki Sivils, marketing director for the Branson Landing. “H&M is a great store, and this will be its eighth location in Missouri and we’re really excited to be one of those locations.”
According to a press release from the retailer, the store will carry fashion for both women and men, as well as the “H&M Kids” for ages newborn through 14.Those in line before the store opens, Sivils said, will have a chance to win an “H&M Fashion Pass,” as well as chances to win gift cards.“It’s valued up to $500,” Sivils said.According to Sivils, the store will be located on the Branson Landing’s “Town Square” next to Cantina Laredo. The store, Sivils said, will be approximately 21,000 square feet.“It’s not as big as Belk or Bass Pro but it’s a very large retail space for us,” Sivils said.According to Sivils, the store will also be adding 20 jobs from around the area.“Twenty of their employees for the store are from Branson or the surrounding location,” Sivils said.
According to Sivils, with the addition of H&M, as well as the incoming Andy B’s, the Branson Landing will have a wide appeal to a variety of demographics.“We’re wanting to get visitors of all ages, including the younger crowd, who would enjoy maybe going to Andy B’s and doing some karaoke and then, of course, shopping at some of our stores, H&M being a good draw, and dining at some of our restaurants,” she said.Looking ahead, Sivils said there …
