PSC to Hold Hearing in Branson on Water Rates

BRANSON, Mo. – The Missouri Public Service Commission is holding a public hearing at Branson City Hall on Thursday (Feb. 1) regarding water and sewer rate cases filed by the Missouri-American Water Company.Last summer Missouri-American filed cases with the PSC seeking to increase annual operating revenues by approximately $74.6 million dollars.The company serves more than 457,000 water customers and more than 13,000 sewer customers in Missouri.The public hearing begins at 12 noon with PSC staff members leading a question-and-answer session, followed by the commission receiving testimony from the public at 12:30 p.m.The hearing is being held in council chambers on the top floor of Branson City Hall.(Sam Clanton, Hometowndailynews.com)
