Shoji Tabuchi to perform Saturday in Harrison

Branson’s legendary performer, Shoji Tabuchi, is coming to Harrison with his band, dancers, and singers in concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 7, in the HHS Performing Arts Center, as part of a fundraising effort for the Harrison High School Choir. Co-starring in the show will be his daughter, Christina Lingo-Tabuchi. The family, friendly show will feature all genres of music.For the past 30 years, Tabuchi has been performing in his theater in Branson, Missouri. However, last year his theater suffered extensive fire damage and will not reopen until later this year. In the meantime, he is taking his show on the road across the United States reaching his fans in their own hometown. The Harrison show will be the only opportunity to see Tabuchi and cast perform in this area until his theater reopens.

Tabuchi opened in Branson in 1980, after many successful performances across the country.The Harrison High School Choir appreciates Tabuchi and the support of the Ozark Arks Council and Equity Bank for this event and encourages the community not to miss this opportunity to catch this talented performer and support the choir.
