`There you go again' — Blunt bristles at continued questions about Trump endorsement

ST. CHARLES • U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt, R-Mo., is sick of talking about the man he’s endorsed for president.“There you go again,” Blunt said to a reporter this morning, in response to a question about newly revealed sexual assault allegations from women against Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.“This is not what we ought to be talking about,” said Blunt, who is in tough re-election fight. “There are big issues to be faced in the country. What President (Bill) Clinton may have been accused of, or what other people may be accused of, I don’t think should be the topic.”
He added: “I’m not going to spend all my time responding . . . to what the two presidential candidates say. That’s a disservice to me (and) it’s a disservice to Missouri voters.”Trump has vehemently denied the latest allegations, aired in various media in the past few days, of women who say he groped or kissed them against their will in years past, and that he barged into the dressing rooms of contestants in the beauty contests he owned while they were undressed.The allegations track with things Trump was recorded in past years bragging …
