VALUES FOR LIVING: Living a hurried life?

BRANSON MO NEWS: On my recent trip to Branson, MO, I was reminded various times of the hurried lives many of us live. There is, however, one story that sticks out for me. It occurred when Tammy and I stopped to check out a park in Rockaway Beach Missouri. No, mom, we didn’t stop there to make out or anything like that because my mind was on fishing. A man has to have his priorities after all.Anyway, as we were getting out of our car, another vehicle pulled in beside us. I picked up my camera and we began to walk this fairly long, narrow path to the partially covered shelter house down by the water when this woman carrying a large umbrella came zooming past us. The manner in which she passed us just seemed so rude and unkind at the time. You see, we had to make sure we didn’t get whacked in the head by her large umbrella. She was in so much of a hurry I thought maybe she had ants in her pants and needed to jump into the water to find some relief. And please understand me when I say she was carrying …
